Description: Deputy Sheriff Crawford was struck and killed by a intoxicated, speeding motorist. Deputy Crawford and Deputy Hill were investigating another automobile accident when a wrecker driver sped through the accident scene, striking Deputy Crawford. Deputy Crawford was transported to the hospital with two broken legs, a crushed skull and chest. He was pronounced dead upon arrival at the hospital.
