Description: Deputy City Marshal Calderwood was stabbed to death while attempting to arrest a robbery suspect. Deputy Calderwood was on his way home when he observed a shop owner chasing two suspects who had just robbed his malt shop. When Deputy Calderwood intervened and attempted to arrest one of the suspects, the man drew a knife and stabbed him in the chest.
