Description: Patrolman Carroll was fatally injured in an automobile crash as he and fellow officers responded to a call regarding a juvenile who had escaped from a detention facility. Patrolman Carroll, responding with emergency lights and siren activated, collided with another police car at an intersection. Patrolman Carroll died en route to the hospital. Three other officers were injured but survived. Inadvertent Action.
