Description: Police Officer Cote was shot in an exchange of gunfire when he responded to a robbery call at a store. Officer Cote entered the front door, gun drawn, and intercepted the two suspects who were attempting to flee. Officer Cote was transported to the hospital where he died. One suspect was killed by responding officers. The second suspect was convicted of murder and sentenced to life in prison.
