Description: Policeman Christensen was shot with his own gun as he struggled to subdue a suspect. Policeman Christensen was on duty as a plainclothes juvenile officer when he attempted to question the suspect regarding a morals offense. The suspect attacked Policeman Christensen, threw him to the ground, gained control of the service weapon and shot him in the chest. Policeman Christensen was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. The suspect was killed in an exchange of gunfire with responding officers.
