Description: Trooper Champy collapsed while attempting to arrest an impaired driver. Trooper Champy and a second trooper responded to a hit and run call and pursued the fleeing vehicle. Trooper Champy suffered a heart attack during the struggle to arrest the passenger of the vehicle. Trooper Champy was transported to the hospital where he died. Two suspects were arrested.
