Description: Officer Clark and his partner observed suspect conducting drug activity. Suspect fled and the officers pursued. Suspect produced a weapon and fired several shots. Detective Clark suffered multiple gunshot wounds and died later at the hospital. Officer Clark's great grandfather, George Francis Shearer, was also killed in the line of duty on May 12, 1914 (34-W: 2).
