Description: Police Officer Cortes-Colon was shot when he and fellow officers responded to an anonymous call which stated that three fugitives were hiding in an abandoned house. Officer Cortes-Colon was shot in an exchange of gunfire with the fugitives in a standoff that lasted for over 3 hours. Two suspects were killed and two were arrested.
