Description: Lieutenant Corbin developed pneumonia due to exposure while assisting at the scene of a fire on January 11, 1911. Lieutenant Corbin also sprained his arm and injured his knee when he tripped over a fire hose that same evening. Lieutenant Corbin was bedridden until his death a week later on January 22, 1911.
