Description: Officer Cole responded to a call where a citizen claimed that a man had threatened him with a gun. Officer Cole located the suspect and ordered him to raise his hands. The suspect responded by drawing his gun and firing two rounds. Officer Cole was struck in the stomach and neck and died at the scene. The suspect was found guilty of manslaughter and sentenced to two years on the chain gang.
