Description: Officer Carson and Officer Robert Nguyen were killed when their patrol truck drove off of the Hackensack River Bridge and plunged 45-feet into the Hackensack River. Because of a recent accident on the bridge, the safety bar and warning lights were not working. Adverse weather conditions with heavy dense fog were a contributing factor in this incident.
