Description: Deputy Cox was shot and killed while investigating a shots fired call. Deputy Cox and several other deputies were questioning people in a local neighborhood after a local truck driver was shot and beaten. Deputy Cox was in the back room of a home when he was fatally shot in the head. The suspect committed suicide before he could be arrested.
