Description: Chief Lloyd Bates and Patrolman Cooper responded to a disturbance call where a intoxicated suspect had boarded a local city bus and was creating a disturbance. After removing the suspect from the bus, Patrolman Cooper, handcuffed the suspect, attempted to cross the local interstate. Patrolman Cooper and the suspect were struck and killed by an oncoming vehicle.
