Description: Police Officer Campbell and Officer Tom Jones were walking their evening beat when a shot rang out from one of the surrounding buildings. The area was notorious for gambling, saloons, crime, and prostitutes. Officer Campbell was shot from behind, and died immediately after being shot fatally in the head.
