Description: Deputy Sheriff Coleman was shot and killed while responding to a burglary call at a local office. Deputy Coleman and a fellow deputy responded to the office and observed a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot. As they approached the vehicle, the suspect opened fire, killing Deputy Coleman. The second deputy returned fire and killed the suspect. Unbeknownst to the law enforcement officers, the suspect had murdered two people several days earlier.
