Description: Deputy Clark and Sheriff Ward Allen went to the home of a couple wanted for contract murder. The lawmen were invited into the home by the suspects and then ambushed. Officer Clark was shot in the stomach and died two days later. Sheriff Allen was shot at point-blank range in the head and died at the scene.
