Description: Police Officer Del Rio was killed in a single-vehicle automobile crash while attempting to stop a speeding motorist. Officer Del Rio pursued the motorist, but had to take evasive action to prevent hitting a taxi cab. Officer Del Rio lost control of his department cruiser and crashed into a palm tree with the rear of his car. Officer Del Rio died at the scene of the crash.
