Description: While patrolling on the night shift, Patrolman Dickman was alerted to a disturbance. Outside a saloon a group of men were arguing, one was armed with a pistol. Suspect fired his weapon twice in the air as Patrolman Dickman approached. Suspect ran to the corner, swung around a telephone pole and fired another shot. The shot struck and killed Patrolman Dickman.
