Description: Deputy U.S. Marshal Day was on a return trip from court in his department-assigned vehicle in St. Johns, Arizona, when he was involved in a car accident. Deputy Marshal Day never regained consciousness and died of his injuries two days later. His father was also injured in the accident but recovered.
