Description: Charles Daly was deputized by Sheriff James R. Barton to assist in the capture of the notorious Flores/Daniel gang. Deputy Daly was ambushed and shot by the gang of desperados. Sheriff Barton, Deputy Charles K. Baker and Constable William H. Little were also murdered in the attack.
