Description: Acting Chief Dan Dalley was on motorcycle patrol when he was struck by a vehicle which had made a left hand turn in front of him. The accident occurred at the intersection of U.S. Highway 6 and M road in Fruita, Colorado. Chief Dalley was transported to a local hospital where he remained in critical condition for two days before succumbing to his injuries.
