Description: On March 10, 1908, Chief of Police Doncaster was injured at the scene of a fire when firefighters lost control of the fire hose and the nozzle struck him. Chief Doncaster was transported to the hospital with a large wound to the right leg. Blood poisoning set in and Chief Doncaster died four days later.
