Description: Deputy Dobbins, along with Sheriff Jordan and a posse of other lawmen, were on their way to arrest four burglary suspects when they were fired upon. Deputy Dobbins was shot in the throat and died the next day. Sheriff Jordan was shot twice but recovered from his injuries.
