Description: Trooper DeLaittre was shot and killed while conducting a traffic stop. During the stop, the suspect opened fire. Trooper DeLaittre was killed in the ensuing gun-battle. The suspect fled the scene after shooting the trooper. The suspect committed suicide and was later found dead in his vehicle.
