Description: Deputy Sheriff Davidson was fatally struck by a train as he fled from a mob. Deputy Davidson and three other deputies were escorting a striking miner to the coal company when they were chased by a group of angry miners. As Deputy Davidson and the deputies boarded a train to safety, Deputy Davidson slipped and fell under the wheels of the train.
