Description: Trooper Dees and Trooper Keith Burch were struck by a vehicle while investigating a collision involving an overturned semi. The driver of the striking vehicle was texting while driving and did not notice the emergency equipment and struck the officers at 75 mph. Trooper Dees died instantly. Trooper Burch survived his injuries.
