Description: Sergeant DeLashmit collapsed and died of a heart attack while jogging around the track after completing firearms training at the department's firing range. Per the department, Sergeant DeLashmit was a member of the Tactical Unit and during the training, members of the unit were running as part of their training process. Sergeant DeLashmit was on duty and was being compensated while he was jogging.
