Description: Police Officer Denner died in a motorcycle crash when an impaired driver struck his personal motorcycle. Officer Denner was in civilian clothing and was travelling from home to the department to change into his uniform and download documents in preparation for a scheduled court appearance later that afternoon. Officer Denner was considered to be on duty at the time of his death since he was responding to a subpoena as a part of his official duties.
