Description: On June 22, 1890, Marshal Dillon was shot after he issued a warning regarding the noise at a dancehall. Marshal Dillon was attacked and beaten by several people and then he was shot. Marshal Dillon was transported to the office of the medical doctor and died of his injuries six days later. Before he died, Marshal Dillon identified his assailant who was arrested. The suspect was convicted of murder and sentenced to three years in prison.
