Description: Constable Dixon was shot when he responded to a disturbance call regarding a man with a gun. As Constable Dixon approached the suspect in an alley, the suspect drew a gun and shot Constable Dixon in the neck. Constable Dixon died at the scene. His assailant was convicted of murder and sentenced to life in prison.
