Description: Deputy Sheriff Dorsey was shot when he answered a disturbance call concerning two suspects. Deputy Dorsey was transported to the hospital with a gunshot wound to the abdomen and died a few hours later. One suspect was convicted of manslaughter and was sentenced to 15 to 20 years in prison. The second suspect was convicted of murder and received a life sentence.
