Description: Town Marshal Dunnam and his cousin, Prohibition Special Agent Jacob Green (16-W: 12), were fatally shot while conducting a raid of a moonshine still. One suspect was convicted of murder but committed suicide just before his scheduled execution. The second suspect was also convicted of murder and sentenced to be executed by hanging. That suspect attempted to escape with a smuggled handgun and shot Jailer John Harris (15-E: 30). Jailer Harris gained control of the gun and fatally shot the suspect. Jailer Harris died of his wounds.
