Description: Deputy Dare was responding to a back up call from a neighboring agency that was searching for an armed DUI driver. While en route, Deputy Dare attempted to negotiate a sharp turn and lost control of his patrol car. His patrol car then crashed into a drainage ditch. When Deputy Dare failed to arrive at the initial call, fellow deputies started to search for him. A concerned citizen called 911 to report Deputy Dare's accident. Deputy Dare had succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
