Description: Corporal Davenport suffered fatal injuries after falling 25 feet from a ladder at the department's firing range. Corporal Davenport served as Range Master for the department and was performing maintenance on an outdoor section which had a tree branch blocking the view of the firing range. He was transported to the Los Alamitos Medical Center where he died the next day from head and internal injuries.
