Description: Patrol Officer Daniel was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver while assisting a stranded motorist. Officer Daniel was helping the motorist who ran out of gas when a pickup truck struck him. Officer Daniel was transported to the hospital where he died. The suspect fled the scene but was later apprehended and charged with vehicular homicide.
