Description: Sergeant Dolan was returning to the department from official duties in Alice, Texas when he lost control of his department vehicle and skidded on the roadway that was covered with slush from a recent snowfall. As Sergeant Dolan attempted to reenter the roadway, his unit was hit broadside by another vehicle. Sergeant Dolan died at the scene.
