Description: Deputy Sheriff Douglass was shot and killed as he attempted to arrest a suspect for a robbery committed earlier that day. The suspect shot Deputy Douglass and his son, Howard, through the window when they arrived at the residence to arrest him. The suspect fled the scene and was not apprehended.
