Description: Deputy Sheriff Davidson was shot when he responded to a domestic disturbance shots fired call. The suspect was intoxicated and had fired a weapon at his wife. Deputy Davidson entered the residence with a posse and attempted to disarm the suspect. Deputy Davidson sustained multiple gunshot wounds and died at the scene. The suspect was arrested and taken into custody.
