Description: Deputy Marshal Devanie was killed in an automobile accident while responding to assist another deputy marshal who was involved in a foot pursuit. Another car pulled out in front of Deputy Devanie's patrol car. Deputy Devanie attempted to avoid a collision but his patrol car hit several utility poles before landing in a ditch. Deputy Marshal Devanie was pronounced dead upon arrival at a local hospital.
