Description: Special Agent Delmas was shot in DeQueen, Arkansas as he searched the train for two suspects wanted for the murder of Police Officer Clarence Isbell (59-W: 2). The suspects had fled from Dallas, Texas where they had murdered Officer Isbell five days earlier. Special Agent Delmas died of his injuries the next day. The suspects were convicted of murder and sentenced to death.
