Description: Officer Daugherty was fatally wounded when he responded to a disturbance call at a local residence. When Officer Daugherty arrived, he was attacked by a man with a chisel and stabbed in the temple. Officer Daugherty was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his wounds two days later. The suspect was caught and arrested for murder the following day.
