Description: Detective Davis had a fatal heart attack while participating in the Texas Special Olympics Law Enforcement Torch Run. Detective Davis was one of 38 runners carrying a torch for the opening ceremonies of the Special Olympics Summer Games. Detective Davis was flown by helicopter to the closest hospital where he died shortly after arrival.
