Description: Deputy Marshal Dale was shot and killed while trying to stop a robbery. Four gunmen entered a saloon and announced a robbery. Deputy Dale exchanged shots with the men, killing on of them, but was wounded in the battle. The three other suspects fled. Deputy Dale succumbed to the wound and died.
