Description: Constable Dearduff was stabbed between the ribs by a suspect while attempting to arrest him. The suspect was shot and wounded by Constable James Browder and placed under arrest. Constable Dearduff died of his injuries the following day. The suspect was found guilty in a court of law and spent the rest of his life in jail.
