Description: Chief Daily and Patroman John Peterson were investigating a suspect for threatening other citizens. The suspect had recently been a mental patient in a local asylum. When the officers approached the suspect he threatened the officers and drew his revolver. Both officers were shot multiple times. They were transported to a local hospital where they died two days later.
