Description: Deputy Sheriff Drake was shot and killed as he attempted to serve civil papers to a man in order to obtain a mule which belonged to Deputy Drake's brother-in-law. Deputy Drake accompanied his relative to the home of the suspect and was shot as he reached into his coat pocket to obtain the papers.
