Description: Officer Duffin died of head injuries received after being struck by an automobile. Officer Duffin was investigating a traffic violator when he and his partner, Officer John P. Reid, were struck by another vehicle at 6535 Limekiln Pike. The suspect was charged with operating a motor vehicle intoxicated, aggravated assault, battery by automobile and involuntary manslaughter.
