Description: Sheriff Dow was shot in the face by the former Sheriff as he crossed the street. The former Sheriff was angry that he had lost the election and claimed the votes were rigged. He testified he shot Sheriff Dow in the face because he knew that he always wore a "steel jacket" at all times. Sheriff Dow died of his injuries the next day.
