Description: Sergeant Dragus was killed in a single-car automobile accident while pursuing a motorcycle for a traffic violation. While in pursuit, a truck pulled into the roadway in the path of the patrol car. Sergeant Dragus swerved to avoid a collision and struck a utility pole and then struck a tree. Sergeant Dragus was transported to a local hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
