Description: Trooper Dimas succumbed to injuries sustained in an automobile accident two months earlier. Trooper Dimas performed a U-turn with his emergency lights activated in an attempt to pursue a traffic violator. During this maneuver, his patrol car was struck by a truck on the driver's side. Trooper Dimas suffered a broken pelvis and had a severe lacerations across his body. Trooper Dimas was convalescing after surgery when he died.
